Raj Patel

Raj Patel is an Edison resident, Indian-American, who grew up in the township when it was becoming the center of Jersey's South Asian community. A Rutgers communications grad, he worked in tech PR for five years before switching to journalism. He covers the people who make Central Jersey interesting — entrepreneurs, community leaders, artists, the folks building something. He believes New Jersey's diversity is its greatest strength.
