Visit Atlantic City announced a new partnership with Live Nation on Friday aimed at expanding live entertainment offerings and strengthening the resort town’s position as a premier East Coast concert destination, according to officials.
The collaboration seeks to attract more headlining acts, boost tourism and generate long-term economic impact in Atlantic City, according to Visit Atlantic City. Officials say the partnership’s goals include increasing hotel stays, dining and retail spending throughout the area.
The effort builds on recent momentum at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, where Live Nation-supported shows have featured major artists including Stevie Nicks, The Who, Lil Wayne and Mary J. Blige, according to officials. The partnership will also explore bringing back large-scale beach concerts to the area.
Visit Atlantic City President and CEO Gary Musich said live entertainment has long been central to the city’s identity and described it as a cornerstone of the Atlantic City experience.
“With the help of Live Nation and collaboration with our partners, we’ll be able to attract a wide array of world-class performers, energize our tourism economy and continue delivering experiences that resonate with visitors year-round,” Musich said.
Musich highlighted Atlantic City’s proximity to major metropolitan markets as a competitive advantage. The city’s access to Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore and Washington positions it well for drawing concert audiences, according to Musich.
“With multiple entertainment options, and our desire to bring more shows to Atlantic City, we have the ability to attract more concert-goers and maintain our focus of keeping Atlantic City a year-round destination,” Musich said.
Eric Scheffler, executive director of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, said the partnership creates a framework to attract top talent and deliver measurable economic returns to the region.
“Visit Atlantic City’s partnership with Live Nation showcases the power of strategic collaboration to transform Atlantic City’s entertainment landscape,” Scheffler said. He thanked the CRDA board for making the collaboration possible and called it “the foundation for something bigger as Atlantic City reclaims its position as an entertainment capital.”
Molly Warren, senior vice president of booking at Live Nation, said the company has experienced success delivering entertainment experiences in Atlantic City across multiple venues.
“Whether it be live events at Boardwalk Hall, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, or even right on the beach, we’ve had tremendous success delivering unparalleled experiences in Atlantic City over the years,” Warren said. “We’re excited to partner with Visit Atlantic City to bring more great shows and unforgettable moments that give people new reasons to visit and enjoy the region.”
The partnership announcement comes following what officials described as a successful 2025 for Atlantic City and continues momentum building into 2026, according to Visit Atlantic City.
The collaboration represents a strategic move to position Atlantic City as a major entertainment hub along the East Coast. By partnering with Live Nation, one of the world’s leading live entertainment companies, Atlantic City aims to secure more high-profile concerts and events that could draw visitors from across the region.
Officials expect the partnership to have ripple effects throughout the local economy, as concert-goers typically spend money on hotels, restaurants, shopping and other entertainment during their visits to the resort town.
Additional event announcements related to the partnership are expected in the coming months, according to officials.
